Dana Burgess

Dana Burgess is an architectural designer with Searl Lamaster Howe Architects. She has gained experience in Chicago primarily working on custom residential homes and joined the SLH team in 2020. Dana received both her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her studies, Dana had the opportunity to travel abroad and study at the École Nationale Supérieure d’architecture in Versailles, France. There, she learned to appreciate the history and understand the core values of both modern and traditional art and architecture and its impact in the architectural world. Outside of work, Dana likes to spend time cooking and baking and is currently pursuing her architecture license.
