Lauren dellinger, AIA


Lauren is a licensed architect in Illinois.  Her background of architectural projects includes a range of hospitality, educational, and residential design.  Before joining Searl Lamaster Howe, she worked on single family and condominium homes in the downtown and greater Chicago areas, as well as hotel interiors for projects in China.  Previous work during her career in Washington DC includes government buildings and higher education, high school, and preparatory school academic buildings, laboratories, and athletic facilities.  She was a member of the Architecture in Schools volunteer program, leading third and fifth grade classrooms in architectural projects, and served as technical coordinator to facilitate the shift from 2D drafting to 3D modeling software as the firm’s standard.  Her current work at Searl Lamaster Howe Architects varies from design and construction administration of a penthouse event space renovation, renovation and ground-up construction of two homes in Michigan, and interior renovation of a downtown Chicago loft building.  She has volunteered and participated in events sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects as well as AIA conferences.
