WILLOW RESIDENCE

Once a four-lane bowling alley, this one-story structure was extensively renovated into a private residence for a young couple. Two levels were added atop the original structure that pivot around a forty-foot stair tower. Private courtyards were carved out at the front and back of the building.  The adjacent lot was cleared to allow for a large side yard used for entertaining. The original maple bowling alley material was reworked into ceiling panels and steps for the steel framed staircase. A rooftop deck captures panoramic views of the downtown skyline and the nearby elevated train.
